Reconstitution Steps

  1. Draw 3 mL of bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe.1
  2. Inject slowly down the vial wall; avoid shaking to prevent foaming.2
  3. Gently swirl or roll until fully dissolved (clear solution).3
  4. Label with the reconstitution date and refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protected from light; use within 4 weeks.4

  • Standard / Gradual Approach, 24 weeks: 6 mL total (3 mL per vial) → 2 × 3 mL vials.

Alcohol swabs

  • Standard / Gradual Approach, 12 weeks: 168 minimum; one box of 100 does not cover the calculation.
  • Standard / Gradual Approach, 24 weeks: 336 minimum; one box of 100 does not cover the calculation.

Sharps container: one appropriately sized. Stability planning: totals are minimum arithmetic quantities; follow the product documentation for sterility, storage, handling loss and discard timing.

KLOW Vial and Research Context

  • Reconstitute: add 3 mL of bacteriostatic water to produce 26.67 mg/mL.
  • Frequency in the source: once daily, subcutaneously.
  • Described range: schedules run from 250 mcg to 750 mcg per injection.
  • Easy measuring: 1 U-100 unit = 0.01 mL = 267 mcg.
  • Vial size: the 80 mg label is total nominal content, not a per-injection amount.
  • Vial coverage: at 250 mcg per injection one vial supplies 320 injections; at 750 mcg it supplies 106. These are mass calculations, not storage periods.

Protocol Overview

Quick reference for the schedules shared by the cited literature.

  • Frequency: once daily.
  • Concentration: 80 mg in 3 mL = 26.67 mg/mL.
  • Unit conversion: 1 U-100 unit = 267 mcg.
06

Dosing Schedule

The tables keep each approach separate.

  • Standard / Gradual Approach: 250 mcg, 500 mcg, 750 mcg, 500 mcg, in phases (once daily).
  • Measurement: use the units and mL shown beside each amount.
07

Storage Instructions

  • Lyophilized (unopened): −20 °C for long-term storage; 2–8 °C if used within weeks. Protected from light.
  • Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, do not freeze. Use within the documented period (typically up to 4 weeks with bacteriostatic water).
  • Handling: do not shake; avoid temperature cycling; label with date and concentration.
  • Discard: cloudy solutions, particulates or expired preparations are discarded.

Important Notes

  • Research only: the referenced compounds are sold for laboratory research. Nothing here is medical advice or an administration schedule.
  • Above 100 units: a 1 mL U-100 syringe cannot hold them; split across syringes or reconstitute with less volume.
  • Accuracy: concentration depends on the actual volume added; measure the diluent with a syringe, not by eye.
  • Verification: confirm vial contents against the batch certificate of analysis before calculating.

How This Works

KLOW is a research tetra-peptide blend in a single 80 mg lyophilized vial that combines two tissue-repair peptides (BPC-157 and TB-500), an α-MSH-derived anti-inflammatory tripeptide (KPV), and a copper tripeptide for dermal remodeling (GHK-Cu). The literature describes complementary pathways of angiogenesis, immune modulation, and extracellular matrix synthesis in experimental models.

Blend composition (80 mg lyophilized per vial):

  • BPC-157 (10 mg): pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric juice protective sequence. Preclinical literature documents upregulation of VEGFR2 (angiogenesis) and repair of tendon, ligament, and mucosa in murine models. Vasireddi N et al., Am J Sports Med 2025 (PMID 40756949) review 36 studies on the modulation of tissue repair pathways.
  • TB-500 (10 mg): Synthetic fragment (LKKTETQ) of Thymosin Beta-4. Literature documents cell migration, angiogenesis via AC-SDKP, and cytokine modulation. Crockford D et al., Ann N Y Acad Sci 2010 (PMID 20955331) y Sosne G et al., Exp Eye Res 2002 (PMID 11819014) in healing models.
  • KPV (10 mg): The Lys-Pro-Val tripeptide, derived from the C-terminal end of α-MSH. Literature documents an anti-inflammatory effect via PepT1 transport in colitis models. Dalmasso G et al., Gastroenterology 2008 (PMID 18061177).
  • GHK-Cu (50 mg): Gly-His-Lys tripeptide complexed with copper (II). Literature describes synthesis of type I/III collagen, extracellular matrix modulation, antioxidant activity, and suppression of TGF-β1. Pickart L, Margolina A, Int J Mol Sci 2018 (PMID 30041448) Review the dermatologic remodeling.

Injection Technique in Research

  • Route in the studies: subcutaneous, in abdominal or thigh adipose tissue, rotating the site.
  • Syringe: 1 mL U-100 (100 units); read in units, not mL.
  • Asepsis: alcohol swab on the stopper and the site; a new syringe per injection.
  • Drawing: purge air, draw the units from the chart and verify before withdrawing the needle from the vial.
